FAQs

You must stay within the designated area outlined on the SeaDC Harbor Map.

Wharf Map
No. The boat is simple and easy to operate. That’s the beauty! It has a top speed of 6 knots. The designated captain must be 21 years or older, with a valid driving license, and must agree to follow our Cruising Rules, Guidelines, and Safety Checklist. Before heading out, the captain will also receive a tutorial from our crew on the dock. But of course, if you’re uneasy, we also offer a professional captain (learn more here).

Each boat rental can hold 10 guests. For larger groups, we can accommodate a multi-boat booking which you can reserve through the website or by shooting us an email, here.

Up to you! The boats are equipped with Bluetooth speakers that can connect to most phones.
No. But there are several public restrooms close to the Wharf marina you can use before heading out.
No illegal drugs or substances; no pets. Other than that, the day is yours. Each boat has a cooler.

While we recommend comfortable shoes for the dock, we require no shoes on the boats. This helps keep our boats clean and in good condition. The boats have plenty of storage for your shoes while “at sea.”

Yes. Adult life jackets are located under the seat cushions in the main seating area.  There will be a limited number of life jackets for children under 12, so we encourage boaters to bring their own. *Must be a Coast Guard approved “Type II” life jacket.
The designated captain must be 21. For passengers, all ages welcome.
Parking is closest at the Wharf Pier, Garage 1 Entrance on Blair Alley. Once in the garage, follow the directions towards the municipal fish market.
